Project Summary

The United Nations’ eleventh goal, sustainable cities and communities, aims to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. By 2030, they aim to ensure that everyone has access to sufficient, safe, and affordable housing and basic services. Our problem focuses on this sustainable development goal in order to help college students at the University of Washington find affordable housing options within adequate commuting distance to school that fit their needs.

Our project aims to address the following question: 

How might we support UW students in identifying and securing the most affordable housing options that align with their timeline, financial needs, and living needs?
